While there are some great installers locally, Helena Montana has a shortage of qualified lawn sprinkler installers. We have installed millions of dollars of irrigation systems and just about every type of system that has been created. We have completed small, 1 zone systems all the way to a huge irrigation system built at a ski resort for summertime activities that was tied into the snow making vault that started out at 400psi and we had to adapt it all the way down to a lawn sprinkler system running less then 100psi.
On occasion we get asked to oversee a large landscape construction project on commercial and residential properties. Our goal during these projects is to work between the Contractor/Homeowner and the Landscape company. Our experience allows us to identify project savings and to lend an outside view to the landscaper completing the project. We are working for the project manager in these situations but we have found fantastic ways to be an asset to both the PM and the landscape crews.
Grading is one of the most important parts of any project. This is where it all starts...Its not sexy, its actually quite boring to watch but without taking grading into consideration along with compaction, water flow and drainage you can not effectively move on to creating the beautiful parts of the landscape. We have been hired to handle rerouting creeks, fixing complex home flooding problems, erosion control, and grading projects as simple as basic landscapes on 5000 square foot lots and smaller.
We have installed paver patios as small as 8'x8' all the way to over 30k square feet paver driveway, patios and walkways. You can see pics of some of our paver work in the gallery section. Pavers can be almost bullet proof if installed correctly. Pavers are easy to fix but if a small area gets damaged where concrete is much more difficult to repair and have look good. We have even been hired to repair commercial paver patios that were installed 40-50 years ago and we figured out a way to make them blend absolutely perfect so they still retained their old school charm. Pavers are going to cost more then basic concrete work but the character they add can not be compared. Done correctly, pavers can almost take on an artistic appearance especially when combined with a ton of color from plants and trees near the pavers.
Retaining walls can be incredibly tricky! There are so many things that need to be taken into consideration such as compaction under the wall, the load being placed on the wall by the earth and the water, how much weight the wall needs to hold for those once in 10 year flood events, height of the wall, rebar requirements, drainage not only behind the wall but also uphill for several hundred feet including gutters, making sure the backfill has zero fines it to prevent the wall from burping and blowing out with an increase in water and so many more things. We have installed miles and miles of retaining walls made out of everything from manufactured concrete blocks, ecology blocks, round and square boulders, earthen berms and more. Please take these things into consideration when you decide to hire someone to install your retaining wall. Also, there are some situations where walls need to be designed by an engineer and we will make sure to point you in the right direction if you have one of these situations.
Plants and trees are one of those things that it seems there are a million ways to plant them and everyone has their own idea of what is correct. We have developed a process that ensures the highest level of success and has worked for 18 seasons with very little problems.
The more important thing to take into consideration is making sure the microclimate of your specific property is taken into consideration when choosing the right plant for the right place. The next most important thing is making sure that water is available at the correct time and in the correct amount. These are all things that take a ton of experience in and we will make sure you are setup for success.
We are one of only a couple full time hydroseed companies in Helena Montana. We run the highest quality machines which allows us to run the highest quality products to give you amazing results! We do not run jet machines which can only use paper products because paper has such a high failure rate it doesnt make sense for anyone to spend their money using products that are known to fail epically. We run only mechanical machines whcih use wood mulch and creates an absolutely beautiful lawn. We also have over 250 types of seed available including native seed, lawn mixes, alfalfa, triticale, and so many other types of seed. Our hydroseed machines combined with our trucks cost in excess 100k for each setup. We have invested in this technology to be able to provide you the absolute best end result for your money. We also cover all hydroseeding for 1 year against any issues at all.

Our team members are highly trained by hand selected members of our company. We rarely sub out any work on our projects and if we do it is because a special license is required such as electrical or plumbing and while rare, these situations will be discussed as needed ahead of time.
We have all necessary licenses and insurance for all of our projects. Some construction projects require special licenses and certifications, and we have trusted members of the community that we work with for those special cases such as electricians and plumbers.
We have completed projects from a few hundred dollars all the way up to several million dollars. We have successfully completed hundreds of thousands of feet of paver patios and driveways, retaining walls, water features, boulder work, irrigation systems and much more.
